DETAILS!!!!!!!!

Ok here's an Idea. Don't know if anyone agrees with me or if I'm just whining. The area inside the skidpan (fenced off) should have no cars parked in it. There will only be pedestrian access through the gates and obviously only cars entered in the event may queue up on the two access roads. Last year was a nightmare trying to maneuver in there and I'd say that there were allot of cars and people in dangerous positions that if someone ran off they’d hit a parked car or worse people. Once you've done your run you either join the queue again or go park outside the fenced area.
It will only make it more enjoyable for the people watching and partaking (IMHO).
All I'm trying to point out is that after the King of the Mountain stuff up the club and organisers needs to start taking spectator and general event safety more seriously.
Anyone agree ??

i was not at last years event but this was discussed in the comm meeting last month

Hmmm ... Yup. Dunno if the S70 is gonna be running by then, but I'll be there anyway. AWD might be the way to go on the skidpan anyway.

SO's family might be coming up from DBN so i might not make it.

BUT, if i do come im bringing the new owner of my Velo to join the club and meet the guys!

From Pretoria Centra

Take the N14 South (N1) Johannesburg.
Take the Jean Ave (Lyttleton / Clubview) offramp.
At Traffic lights turn right onto Lyttleton Ave.
Travel west for 2.1 km till intersection with R 101 (old Jhb / Pta road)
Cross straight over onto Saxby Ave.
Travel straight for 2.3 km (over Wierda road) till a 4 way stop.
Turn Left onto the M10 Sunderland ridge (Hans Strydom)
Travel west for 3.5 km thru 2 traffic lights. (past Bondev House & Daimler Crysler)
At third traffic lights turn right onto R 55 Pretoria West .(Laudium)
Travel north for 4.0 km to zwartkops


From Centurion / Midrand / Jhb
Take the M1 north onto N1 north (pietersburg / Pretoria)
At the Main N1 Jhb/Pietersburg & N14 Pta/Krugersdorp Interchange.
Take the N14 Krugersdorp off ramp.
Travel west for 6.4 km.
Take Exit No. 317 offramp
R 55 Pretoria West.
Turn right at stop sign. (proceed with caution)
Travel north for 10.7 km (cross over straight at circle intersect with R114)
Straight over at traffic lights at Sunderland Ridge Industrial Park.
Straight over at traffic lights at M10 Garsfontein intersect.
to Zwartkops Raceway
