Hi All,

The next VW Club event is a approaching fast - Come join us at Zwartkops Raceway Karting track for a fun filled day of racing!!

We will be running three different kinds of race events on the day, details are listed below.



Enduro-Karting

Start: 9am
Cutoff: 11:30am
Cost: R1700 (per Kart/team)

8 Teams will be in the running to see who is the 2009 VWCSA Karting champs

At 9am will be the start of a 2.5hour Enduro Karting Race, we still have 2 Karts available and it will be Teams of 5.

Each driver will need to complete 2 stints of 15min and there will be 1 stop for refueling.

Please note payments will be made to the Club account and the deadlines for payments are Friday the 13th of Feb. Please pay as a TEAM it makes for easy logistics

Car GymKarting

Cost: R80 for Members - R100 for Non-Members
Start: 12pm
Break for Citi Challenge: 3pm - 4pm
End: 5pm

Drivers are required to be 18 or older and have a valid drivers license, drivers will also be requested to sign the Zwartkops indemnity form.

Based on the 2008 Jamboree, bring your car and see how fast you can peddle it around the Zwartkops Go-Kart Track.

This is a timed event and cars will be split into classes.

Class A: 2.0l and above
Class B: 1.7l - 2.0l
Class C: 1.6l and below
TD: Turbo Diesels
FI: Forced Induction
M: Memebers (VW Club members - Non VW Vehicles)
O: Open class - (Non VW Club Members)



Citi Challenge

Cost: First Lap R50
Option of one or two extra laps at R25 a lap
(drivers will be limited to 3 laps each)
Drivers are required to be 18 or older and have a valid drivers license, drivers will also be requested to sign the Zwartkops indemnity form as well as a Hatfield Bryanston indemnity form.

Ever watched Top Gear and thought you'd love to be the Star in a reasonably priced Car? Well same concept except our test track will be Zwartkops Kart track and our Suzuki is a Citi!

So the duel is on to see who will be our quickest driver round the kart track in a Citi!

At our registration table on the day we will also be Renewing memberships and signing new members, we will also have club merchandise on sale on the day (T-Shirts, Key Rings, Stickers, ETC) so be sure to come have a look

I still havent recieved my membership card etc (i paid beginning Jan). Will i be able to pick it up on Saturday? Also, how can i prove that i am a member but have not got my card yet in order to get in?
