Powering 6*9s

Hi guys,
I have a JVC head unit, its says 40w by 4channels, so is it possible to bridge these channels and if so will this be enough to power 6 by 9s

Yes you could bridge the two channels on the deck, but then you can't play around with the settings on your radio with the rear fill or front fill.

Have you actually done it?!? Had an interesting article around the true output figures of headunits and how the output on them works... It's not exactly what you want to hear at the end of the day, if you're looking at powering anything from the headunit except say maybe the remote wires for your amps and electric aeriel...
