Oil leak

Can someone be of any assistance.
My Polo Vivo Clp has a very small oil leak,actually looking like it is sweating where the Cylinder Head and Engine block meets.Looks like just next to the timing chain Cover.There is a bit of black sealant applied between the timing case gasket and the block and head.
It is no plenty of oil.
According to VW they said it is normal.
Does someone maybe experiencing the same problem???
