APK block with ABF head

Post by Vonn »

Hi guys,
I'm looking to swap an abf head onto my apk block. Are the any modifications I should do or will it be a direct bolt on?
Also, I do plan to turbo the motor, is there anything I should know about taking on this type of project?
It's my first time taking on a project like this so any help is appreciated🙏

Hi Vonn,

It can definitely be done, I was considering doing the same setup but decided to go the fsi head swap.

You can have a look here for the entire build https://www.vwvortex.com/threads/mk4-mk ... id=4001222

The APK, AEG & AZG engines are identical.

Howzit Ry@n,

Thanks bro, I'll give it a shot. Also, would I have to run standalone management to get the turbo to run?
