Upgrades are as follows
1. touch screen - Interface is controlled by touch whereas the original doesn't
2. video & music playback from USB & SD card - doesn't support HD clips and small resolution clips plays flawlessly. Opted for aux which sounds better than the voice module that connects to the factory amplifier.
3. Bluetooth* - Has music playback but the default player doesn't have that option so its pointless. Still trying to figure out a way around it.
4. WinCE Navigation - Struggled so much to get the Igo 8 navigation software that is almost 14yrs old and eventually got Igo Primo 1.1 and 1.2 both which supports the latest maps. currently Primo 1.1 works better with 2023 RSA Map and POI and English voice.
5. Reverse Camera - Managed to hook up aftermarket reverse camera which is nice touch. Struggled a little without the original 5 -pin plug and eventually got to modify one from an old radio. The pdf manual came very handy and assisted a lot.
It is an old system that gets the work done with little costs and so I'm very happy with it. Thanx for reading
