2013 polo vivo gt miss on idle

Good day.
I have a 2013 polo vivi gt.
1.6 cls engine
245000km on clock

The car seems to have a miss or hunt on idle. Soon as i accelerate. Car goes fine, clean revs no miss or hesitation. No loss of power, fuel consumtion about 210km for R400, no oil loss. When you sitting in the car or stand at the exhaust you can hear the idle sounds like its up and down.
The revs dont flux on the dash and its not noticeable at the engine bay that the car idle isnt steady.
Had issue with coil pack on cylinder 3 in august 2023 which i changed. Had to change plugs in jan2024 as car had a heavy miss.
Car is stock other than a branch and exhaust.

Consider doing a compression check to rule that out.... Some of the 2010 to 2014 models did have an issue with valve guides which meant that valves were not sealing correctly which resulted in a misfire.

Had a leak on the thermostat. Which i sorted out yesterday. Flushed system and put in antifreeze. As i was running with water for some time. Car seems to hesitate and jerk on acceleration. Mech says probably blown head gasket. Allowing coolant to go by the spark plug. Says coolant is harder to burn out than the water therfore the car is giving the hesitation while driving nw.

Consider doing a compression check to rule that out.... Some of the 2010 to 2014 models did have an issue with valve guides which meant that valves were not sealing correctly which resulted in a misfire.

Will strip soon and do head gasket. Timing chain as well while in there.

is the car over heating, is the water level dropping but no visible leaks, also is there pressure in the water bottle and pipes

Just finished up now. Changed head gasket, thermostat. Timing chain. Decided not to skim the head as the valves are to close to head already. 1.6 16v cls motor with cup pistons. Theres barely any meat on the head to skim. Never been touched before. Probably pointless to pressure test. If the head is stuffed. Symptoms should resurface and we back at square one. While still having saved the money for pressure testing and keeping towards a new head.
Just need to finish up tomorrow with new plugs, put on battery, a few pipes and water bottle. Will start up and see from there.

Had the car from 2015. Never heated up not once. Off recent, water level drops about 200ml every 2 weeks. No pressure in pipes and water bottle.

On my polo, cls engine, I found that the valve underneath the intake manifold to have a slight leak as well as the a leak from the seam on the coolant bottle. Replaced both and no issues. The leak on the water bottle was minor but sufficient to see a marginal drop in pressure in the pipes

Heater valve below intake, Changed that too.. Water bottle is good, havnt had any leaks there. Changed that some time back.

Does the CLS even have a MAF sensor?
