VW Jetta Cli 1.8 8v 1989 Model - Cold start Injector Wiring

Post by TinusTal »

Good day guys,

Sorry I am new to this forum so if I post this incorrect please help me in the right direction:).

I am trying to sort out the wiring of the cold start that is not working at all. The injector is fine and working when connected to 12v supply.

I have traced the wires from the starter coil red/blk to the thermo time switch. From the thermo time switch grn/wht wire to the cold start injector connector(+). From the cold start connector(-) black wire going to a vacuum switch allocated by the k-jetronic fuel system. From vacuum switch a white wire runs to the throttle body switch. Out of this switch a blk/yel wire runs into the harness that I think goes to the fuse box / ignition. Here I am a bit lost.

Can you guys please help me. I think this blk/yel wire must surely have 12volt on it.

Thank you.
