Eibach blue springs

Post by rishav-zn »

Afternoon Gents
I have a mk6 recently fitted new 19s 235/35/19 it was sitting abit high so I decided too drop it and go with vw Eibach springs(blue). The front off the car is sitting beautiful just how I want it too sit but the back off the car is sitting exactly same with the original springs the guys said give it some time too settle but how long?? Did anyone experience this it has abit 3 finger space between the tyre and wheel arch
:bang:
Thanks gents feedback is highly appreciated

Just general info, but IIRC the Eibach springs drop back and front the same, and VW's generally are higher at the back, so the car will sit uneven with Eibachs. You will need something like H&R with different heights to get a level car.

If you just installed the springs, allow time to settle (a month), try and load the rear of the car as well with passengers and that will even decrease the settling time.

Not with a H&R and DSG anyway, I'm pretty far off level, one reason I'm going to try VW driver springs...(front is currently lower by about 1cm)

I have the DG springs and the rear gap is slightly more, I have 1 finger gap in front and 2 at the rear.

My car stock was slightly higher in the rear, so it dropped it evenly.

This is mine on the DG's...

I have the Eibach red springs and both front and rear drops beautifully.
Only issue I have is the rubbing of the tyres. Same size wheels 19" 235/35.
Have you had issues with tyres rubbing in front? as you say the back is still a bit high!
