hot air fan disconnected
good day i have a chico golf , last time i had a problem with my fan the garage disconnected the hot air but now i would to re connect as winter is here , the hot air cable is hanging loose inside engine but not sure where it gets connected , i am also not sure if the pipes were disconnected , the cold air still blows but not hot air , i have pics but cannot seem to attach , please assist with info

I'll hazard a guess that they disconnected the heater because the internal core is leaking. Look at the firewall near the brake booster for the two water pipes that go through the firewall.

okay thank you but the cable has been disconnected that moves the hot air lever on dash in the car , so not sure where to attach the loose cable in the engine , it has a hook on the end

This is the valve on the pipes described above. It's likely been removed too.

thanks Belix for this info and video , yes i notice my water heater valve has been removed , i will need to purchase another one and also check the piping , maybe a garage that installs aircon can assist me , not sure , thanks once again

Before you buy the valve, operate the dash lever and see what happens with the cable in the engine compartment at "open" (hot) and "closed" (cold).
Then make sure you get the appropriate valve. I've seen some that have the open and closed positions switched around.
