Hi chaps!
I'm looking at replacing my 2011 5N Tiguan TDI with an AD1 Tiguan.
I'm still deciding between the 1.4 TSI and 2.0 TDI.
So when looking at the 1.4 TSI, I see there are two versions. 2016 to early 2018 has the CZEA engine, that if my assumption is correct, has cylinder deactivation. From 2018 onwards it came with the CZD engine without ACT.
Is there a reason why the engines were changed? Is it perhaps a cost-cutting exercise or were the any major reliability issues?
Any major issues with the non-ACT version of the engine?
THX!
