Hi there , my name is Herman. My business name is Uk-tech. "Urk" is a nickname my late dad used to call me and tech stands for technicalities.
I am a self tough mechanic/autolec/motorsport freak /very curious private dude.
I started learning about engines from young but my real knowledge started on bikes , the kind that nobody can or wants to work on.Later on in life I learned lots through tinkering but only when I was working for a real workshop did I gain experience on different brands and era's of engineering setups. You can study the basic theory of the internal combustion engine and fully understand each variant , fuel type , layout as much as you like, but you need hands on experience to learn how exactly did wich manufacturers applied that basic theory. ever country/brand etc. all had their own way of doing things. Bottom line , you never stop learning as lo g as you dont learn from people who only teach what they want you to learn. . .

When a car tailgates me, i slow down - then floor it and give them a cloud of diesel smoke to choke on

I suggest you find both those wiring diagrams and start listing which wire is what on both wiring looms and label them. The only way unfortunately.Jay87 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2024 8:43 pm Polo playa 1.4 2001 , I'm changing the ecu I have ecu and transponder box and key that I'm fitting into my polo playa the thing is the plugs on the transponder boxes are different so I have to change plugs to match the box I'm fitting , the playa had the following wire color , red, black, green, blk/yellow, brown, the transponder box I'm fitting is from a classic and has , red, black ,green, and 2 brown so with the noted difference how would I connect these wires
