Hi guys
Trust all is well
Please give me advice, i am looking to buy this pioneer sub specs are: TS-D12D4 D 12inch 2000w 4ohn DVC sub running 600RMS. Single sub with single box
The best amp to be used for this sub and the best box, also cabling to be used. The amp not too expesive but pretty decent.
I will be running it from the standard polo vivo 1.4 2015 deck and hatchback.
Thanks

Re: Amp and box to be used for pioneer sub
Any decent amp with a minimum of 600W RMS will work. My way of doing it it always go for an amp at least 1.2 times what the sub can handle, in this case, an amp with at least 720W.
This is for "headroom" so you are not pushing the amp to it's limit every time when playing the music loud.
Also, a decent amp brand will be able to handle it easily, where cheaper stuff usually lets the magic smoke out or smack protection mode long before the sub will be pushed to it's limit.
And sub box is very subjective on what you actually want from the sub.
Go Google the recommended box specs for the sub, and work from there.
Sealed, ported, on the smaller size, on the bigger size, etc.
Cabling, decent 4 Gauge minimum. And stay away from the cheap aluminium cables. They are not worth it. Get proper copper cables.
