When i got the car it was dirty but through the dirt you could see the cloudiness and scratches all over in the paint. Almost every nook, gap, panel edge trim etc had thick wax in them. After the thorough wash there were stil plenty of wax bits stuck all over and this was dealt with during decontamination. After that I pulled it out in the sun to have a look and this is where i saw the true damage caused by the previous "detailer" as well as negligence from the owner side for not taking proper care( which he lost faith after the intial detail). There were deep swirls, buffer trails which looked almost like tiger stripes but the worst thing of all was the amount of burnt paint we found. There were 5 edges were I found strike troughs on the car. The car was butchered, hacked and damaged quite badly so we set out to fix and give the paint a new life.
Wheels were washed and Decontaminated followed by a thorough 5 stage car wash. A 3 Stage decontamination was done to remove all the Iron deposits, surface contaminants & Tar. Paint was then corrected & Refined with Scholl & MOTHERS compounds. AF Illusion show car wax then applied for protection which left a dripping wet look to the black.
The owner spent the last couple of hours of the detail with me and he could not believe that it was the same car he dropped of with me the day before. He came in just after the correction was done and he though the car was ready to go. I have now given him faith in detailing and the car will now be taken proper care of.
