Auto Finesse Imperial showcase

Post by N3mo »

I always get asked the question on how effective is Auto Finesse Imperial wheel cleaner on stained wheels. The dilution ratios of Auto Finesse products do seem a bit odd as its hard to believe that you use so lil of the product to get such good results. I decided that I will do a lil showcase using one of my 50ml sample bottles that i hand out to show the results that can be achieved.

Auto Finesse Imperial
Imperial wheel cleaner is an acid free formula that can tackle tough deposits of break dust and road grime whilst still being gentle to the finish. This clear gel detergent based cleaner will cling for longer dwelling periods to make cleaning your wheels easy.

Directions for use:

1: Ensure wheels are cool

2: Remove loose dirt from the wheels by rinsing with water from a hose or pressure washer

3: Spray Imperial liberally on the surface

4: Agitate using a soft wheel brush

5: Rinse thoroughly with a pressure washer or hose, and then dry the wheels

Tips from the professionals:

Cleaning insides of the wheels and behind the spokes of wheels will not only dramatically improve the overall appearance of the vehicle but it will also help keep corrosion at bay.

50ml Product was mixed with 200ml of water.

The wheels although not terribly dirty and caked with brake dust, still had stains and looked pretty dull. The car was driven from jhb the previous night and there was brake dust and dirt on them.

As per instructions, I sprayed enough on the wheels and calipers, left to dwell and then agitated the face with detailing brushes and the barrels with wheel woolies then pressure hosed.

After cleaning the front wheels I wanted to see just how effective the product was without agitating. So sprayed the product on the rear wheels, left to dwell. Then rinsed of with a high pressure cleaner.

Overall a very impressive product, the 250ml mix was enough to do all 4 wheels and calipers. The product comes in a premix 500ml , 1L and even a 5L. Based on the price and dilutions ratios, its the best bang for buck wheel cleaner you can find. Apart from being cost effective, its a world class product that is used and backed by professional detailers world wide.
